The PSA Nitrogen Generator uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology to separate nitrogen from compressed air and provide a stable, on-site nitrogen supply with purity up to 99.99%. It is designed for users who need continuous nitrogen production without depending on gas cylinders or liquid nitrogen.
The system operates with a dual-tower structure filled with high-performance carbon molecular sieve (CMS). When compressed air enters one tower, oxygen is selectively adsorbed by the CMS, while nitrogen passes through and is delivered to the application point. At the same time, the other tower is regenerated by releasing the adsorbed oxygen into the atmosphere.
Once the first tower reaches saturation, the system automatically switches to the second tower for adsorption, while the first tower begins regeneration. This alternating cycle ensures continuous nitrogen production, stable purity, and reliable long-term operation. With PLC automatic control and optimized switching cycles, the generator offers efficient nitrogen separation and reduced compressed air consumption.
To ensure stable nitrogen purity and reliable system performance, the PSA nitrogen generator should operate under the following recommended conditions:
- Nitrogen purity: up to 99.99%
- Inlet pressure: 0.5 – 0.8 MPa
- Inlet temperature: ≤ 40℃
- Nitrogen dew point: ≤ -40℃
- Switching cycle: 45 – 60 seconds
- Ambient temperature: ≤ 40℃
- Voltage / frequency: 220V / 50Hz
- Noise level: ≤ 75 dB
For the best operating result, the generator should be supplied with clean and stable compressed air. Proper pre-treatment, including filtration and air drying, is recommended to protect the carbon molecular sieve, maintain nitrogen purity, and extend equipment service life.
